History: 

 Being born into a family of researchers and medics, Shawnna was exposed to academics at an early age. Raised in Snowpoint City, Shawnna quickly grew an affinity for cold weather and ice type Pokémon. Instead of embarking on a Pokémon adventure at the age of ten, as most of her neighbors did, she was instead sent to Pokémon school. Most of her free time was spent helping her mother with researching Sinnoh’s Pokémon and her love for science was born. Shawnna felt that going on a journey was unnecessary to accomplish her goal of making a significant contribution to the field of Pokémon Research. Instead, she continued studying as all the other children went on their Pokémon Journeys. When helping her mother work, she has had the opportunity to visit other regions and her love for this field of science continued to grow with each experience. After having graduated from school, Shawnna decided to take a gap year before starting to work with her mother and go and explore a new region to hone her researching skills. To do se, her mother recommended the Borealis region and Shawnna packed her bag and departed on her journey.
